20 tags for Daiga

The other day my dear mother and her friend Daiga came by to talk about christmas-cards. Daiga is so far my biggest customer and she love House Mouse. After some coffee and a lot of house Mouse-stamping she deiced she wanted 20 christmas-tags, 15 small singled sided cards and 6 folded cards.

So yesterday i started up with the tags and I justed finished the tags. So here comes the result.

The tags is created by using Tim Holtz’s Tiny tabs & tags and the images is from House’s Clearstamp set Christmas. The images is colored using colored pencils and the edges have been distressed with Fired Brick or Pine Needles. On the image the red ones look a bit pink but they do look red in real life.

After looking at the photo i just realized that it’s only the image with the cheese that shows, but on half of the tags (apparently the lower half) I also used the mouse with the stocking.

Tim Holtz’s Tiny tabs & tags, House Mouse Clear stamp set Christmas and Distress Inks (fired brick and Pine needles).

Soft Teal/Red House Mouse

So for a day or two ago i started making a card from this weeks Midnight Madness sketch, due to the fact that it’s House Mouse that sponsors it.

I haven’t been able to stop flipping through Basic Gray’s Hello Luscious paperpack and i deiced to use the small print on it. I have loved this paper for a while but i have been a bit intimidated when i have been unable to see a nice match straight away but i do think i succeeded now.

The main stamp is from House Mouse’s set Birthday: Balloon and the sentiment is from the set Spring: Dip. The image is as usual colored with copics. I Have tried to make some long-furred mouses lately but I’m not that happy with these ones.

The ribbon that goes across the card on the top half is an adhesive lace-ribbon that i bought the other day from Panduro. It was a pack with cream-colored ribbon and laces. I really like it but it bothers me a bit that the adhesive strips shows underneath the lace on some of them.

Copic: R39, R29, RV34, V000, E00, E21, E51, E11, E40, E41, N7, N5, N3, N1, C2, 0, E35, E33, E31

a Wintery and Cheesey Mouse

So here comes the continuation of last night’s post. This is the blue House Mouse birthdaycard that was ordered.

I were looking through my stash of papers after some nice blue ones and came across Bo Bunny’s midnight Frost and all the love i had for it last winter blossomed again. One of the requests for this card was to have a ”congratulations” on the front but i really didn’t think it would fit in an nice way so i hope that will do.

The rhinestones is in a pale blue to match the card, and the ribbon is a baby blue satin ribbon. The mat for the image is not by a cardstock but by a purple paper from the Midnight Frost collection.

The coloring is made with copics as usual. The paper the is wrapped around the cheese have been colored in the same way but the ”inside”-part is heavily faded with the blender pen to get a brighter and more metallic look.

Copic: Y17, Y08, Y21, B32, B21, B45,V17, E00, E51, E21, E11, E04, E33, E35, E37, N9, N7, N5, N3, N1

Pink Waterlilies

I have for a while now been coloring another House Mouse image for practice, and this time I used the lily Pad Pond from the Summer: Waterlily-set.

I’m really sick and can barely think straight so now when i decided i had to mount the image onto a card for this weeks House Mouse and friends challenge i really say that it turned out good, but it’s not terrible anyway.

So this will be a short one so i can get back to bed. Hope you enjoyed it anyway.

Juggling Raspberries – Finished Card

So today i did use my ”Juggling with Raspberries to make a card.

I have been watching the progress of this two-week challenge from House Mouse and Friends and i havn’t come up with a contribution until now.

The card is featuring the House Mouse stamp Juggling with raspberries from the Summer: Waterlily-set, the same goes for the raspberries on the inside and on the recipe. The image is colored with copics and distress inks. The sentiment is from the House Mouse set Autum: Berry and is stamped with Versa Colors Pine Cone. The Papers that I used are from Inkido.

The embellishments are brads and small strips of the brown cardstock i used, and the corners are from one of the dies in Provocraft’s set Vintage.

The recipe on the fold is one for a ice cream-raspberry drink. Unfortunately i don’t have a printer for the moment so it’s my bad handwriting on display. The raspberries in the recipe is stamped with Versa colors Cardinal.

Papers: Inkido’s Martha – Croissant, Tuva- Lipstick red.

Juggling Raspberries Part 2 – Raspberries, greenery and fur

Copic:

  • Raspberries: R24, R29, R39, R59
  • Gras: G12, GG14, YG17
  • Leaves:G12, G14, YG17, YG67
  • Fur: C8, C6, C4, C2, E37, E35, E33
  • Ground: E31, E33, E21, N1, N3
  • Flower: Y17, Blender Pen

Juggling Raspberries Part 1 – Basket and skin

Copics

  • Basket: E40, E41, E43
  • Skin: E00, E13, E11, E21, E04

Fruity fun on Hello Luscious

Ever sense i made the grayish card with these two wonderful mice I have wanted to do one in color, but i have been a bit intimidated by the red blending. After seeing all the food and fruit-challenges this week i decided to give it a try. I think i was very successful with the cherries. I did keep them a bit light, mostly so i could start training on that colors before i gave it a try with a darker shade.

I used this weeks Sketch Saturday layout for the card and i REALLY hope i win due to the fact that the prize is copic-pens. And i want and need more of them!

All the bright edges, like the image and the beige papers have been distressed with Antique Linen. The sentiment is from The Basic Grey’s Cup of Tea stamp-set. The inside is very simple but I think it matches the clean-looking front.

Copic: E00, E11, E13, E04, N5, N3, N1, R20, R22, R24, R29, G17, G67, E39, E35, E31

Paper: Basic Grey’s Hello Luscious and Basic

Stamps: House Mouse’s Fruity Fun and the feet from the clearstamp Halloween-set, Basic Gray’s Cup of Tea

Fruti Fun in gray and antique yellow

I have made another card for House Mouse and Friends 100ed challenge and this time i tried some new papers out. I used this week Sketch Saturday sketch for the layout.

The Image is Fruity Fun from House Mouse and i colored it with only gray (N-series) and skin-tones (which i coated with Y21 to get a more yellow tone). The background have been distressed with Antique Linen so it won’t be any harsh white. I paper pierced around the edge for a bit more dimension.

The Paper that is used is from Making Memories Paper Reverie collection. I love them, they are so delicate and soft and yet have a depth to them, As embellishments i used Martha Stewart’s borderpunch Modern Garland to mate the lacy borders. I used some beige buttons and a black satin ribbon. The flowers are made with Fiskar’s punch Retro flower (medium) and flower power. I put them together and put a pearl in the middle.

Copic: N9, N7, N5, N3, N1, E43, E41, Y21, 0

Punches: Martha Stwearts Modern Garland, Fiskars Retro Flower Medium and Flower Power.

House Mouse with lots of buttons

Among all the buttons i got in the bag from grandma and grandpa’s old store there were some with a pearlshine and some with stars is them that i just loved so i decided to make a card with them, and luckily for me this weeks House Mouse challenge is one featuring buttons.

The stamp is House Mouse’s Brithday Cupcake that i have in my Birthday: Ice Cream-set. I have colored i with Copic and i just fell in love with this very light green combination. I used Glossy Accent on the frosting to make it more shiny (se the picture to the right). The sentiment is from Gina K’s Fanciful tags i just stamped in black.

The paper is from an unknown brand as decoration i used a doilie, lots of buttons and pearls  and a ribbon. I used this week Mojo Monday again for my layout.

Copic: E00, E11, E13, YG11, G12, YG41, B00, N7, N5, N3, N1, E41, E40, E04, E13, E35, E39 and 0.
